COVID Infects Buckingham Palace

News around the world is seeing the news of Queen Elizabeth splashed across headlines. According to global headlines, Queen Elizabeth, whose health had already made headlines due to her age, recently tested positive for COVID. This is following her recent addressing of an audience at Windsor Castle.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed the Queen’s COVID status. Buckingham Palace also confirmed that the Queen had received three doses of the COVID vaccine, although she was not wearing a mask at her recent Windsor events.
While confirmation has been made publically available, the Royal Family’s health concerns became known after Prince Charles tested positive as well for COVID. This is Prince Charles’ second COVID infection. The Queen’s daughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall, has also tested positive for the virus.
A Private Medical Matter
While not much has been released on Queen Elizabeth’s health and COVID condition as yet, due to the sensitive nature of the health matter, more is soon to be released as updates are made publically available.
For now, Queen Elizabeth is in stable health and is experiencing mild symptoms of COVID. This includes cold and flu-like symptoms. Despite symptoms, she can still perform mild duties at Windsor Castle.

Queen Elizabeth has a busy schedule, but the doctor has now ordered her to rest and to cancel all appearances. And, like others in the U.K and across the world, the Queen has been ordered to self-isolate for at least five days.
